Dog Hoodie

Dog hoodies keep small, medium and large dogs warm on cool walks while adding a playful or sporty look, from fleece fruit styles and animal costumes to thick cotton hoodies with a laced hood. The collection spans toy breeds from under 1 kg up to large dogs in XXXL and 4XL, so most dogs can find a comfortable fit. For thicker knits, also browse our dog sweaters.

How to choose the right dog hoodie

Warmth: Fleece and thick cotton hoodies suit autumn and winter, while lighter polyester styles work for mild days and indoor wear. Very cold or wet days call for a coat instead.
Dog size: Several hoodies list sizes by weight, for example XS for dogs around 1 kg up to 4XL for dogs of 10 to 14 kg. Others run from S up to XXXL or 4XL for larger breeds.
Cut: A high-cut tummy keeps the hoodie clean and comfortable for male dogs during bathroom breaks. Stretch fabric helps with deep chested breeds.
Hood design: Costume hoods with ears or shapes are fun for photos and short outings. For daily walks, a simple hood that stays in place is easier.
Ease of dressing: Most hoodies slip over the head with no straps. If your dog dislikes this, look at button or strap closures in our wider clothing range.

Sizing and fit

Measure your dog's neck, chest girth at the widest point behind the front legs, and back length from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Compare with the size chart on each product page, since some hoodies are sized by weight and others by measurements. If your dog is between two sizes, choose the larger one.

Dog Hoodie FAQ

Is a dog hoodie warm enough for winter?

A dog hoodie adds a light to medium layer of warmth, which suits cool autumn days and mild winter walks. Thick cotton and fleece hoodies hold heat better than thin polyester. In snow, freezing wind or rain, a lined winter coat or raincoat protects your dog more fully.

Can my dog wear a hoodie all day?

A dog hoodie is meant for walks and cool indoor spaces rather than all day wear. Remove the hoodie when your dog is warm, sleeping near a heater or playing hard, and check regularly for rubbing under the front legs. If your dog has a skin condition, ask your vet before dressing them.

How do I wash a dog hoodie?

Follow the care instructions on the product page. Cotton and fleece dog hoodies generally keep their shape with a gentle cold wash and air drying, which also helps prevent shrinking.
